Prepare For Captain Jacks To Service Your Home

We are so happy to have you as a customer. To streamline this process we will need two things from you and they are listed below.

STEP 1) Preparing For Landscaping With Florida Sunshine 811

This Is A FREE service and is the law! (Skip if we are not breaking ground such as mowing or mulch and stone install ).  Must be done at least 3 days prior to us servicing your property.

Installing a fence or mailbox, starting a garden or building a deck, all require a call to Sunshine 811 at least two full business days before you begin digging to get public facilities marked and located. In fact, it’s the law.

Sunshine 811 notifies its member utility companies to mark their underground facilities where you plan to dig. Sunshine 811 does not locate or mark underground facilities. This is done by the member utility companies or their locators.

Safe digging is everyone’s responsibility. Failure to dig safely can result in costly damages and repairs, loss of essential utility services, and even serious injuries to you or your neighbors. To learn more about the safe digging process, check out the Six Steps to Safe Digging.

Are you ready to start your project? Submit a ticket.

Sunshine 811 takes your information and sends it to our member utility companies. Those companies send locators to your dig site to locate and mark the underground facilities with paint and flags. Quite simply, submitting this request online is the quickest way to do this
